Excellently written, a sad tale for Chester-le-Ford, I wonder if Lisrett is strong willed enough to turn its fortunes around?

Letter to Sir Nicholas, Duke of Wysteria
449th year of the emperor, Chester-le-Ford

Letter to Sir Nicholas, Distinguished Founder of the Majestic Gallen, Duke of the Great Lands of Wysteria, my Noble and Generous Liege, from your humble servant and devoted citizen, Miss Liserett O’Kleefe of Chester-le-Ford.

I hope this letter finds you and your family in good health. The last time I came to Gallen I was as always astonished by its prosperity and amplitude. It is truly a remarkable city worthy of the magnificent Duchy that is Wysteria. This was quite some time ago and I must apologize for the lack of news you received from Chester-le-Ford County lately, which brings me to the purpose of this letter. I’m afraid the news this letter bears are but grim and troubling.

Word has most likely reached you by now that my mother suffered terribly lately, she never quite recovered from her wandering the Nether, lost and alone, years ago. If anything, her fractured mind split in more and more pieces with time. While having another of her dreadful dreams some months ago, she sleep walked once again, and fell down the stairs this time. She broke her leg and disease invaded her flesh, too quick for our healer to stop it. The limb had to be amputated. Our family was crushed with despair, my poor father nearly lost his mind as my mother laid in bed, delirious with fever, infection working its inexorable way through her body. I tended to the poor woman day and night, relentlessly staying by her side, allowing no one in the room except for Chester-le-Ford’s best healer, for I feared other visitors might upset her, thus worsening her condition. Little did I know my grief-stricken father would commit the irremediable as a result. A worker found him in the stables, lifeless, the same day my mother succumbed to the rot that mercilessly invaded her flesh...

Times are grisly now in Chester-le-Ford, I only now find the strength to accomplish my duty and write you these words. Yet, what must be done shall be done, my lord, and I assure you I now will step up and lead the O’Kleefe House as I was raised to do. I assure you my House’s allegiance to you and to Wysteria remains pure and adamant. Please be assured that my young age shall not be an obstacle to fulfilling my duty.

I look forward to hearing from you, my dear lord, as a word from you shall be a gleam of light in the midst of this tragedy.

Truly, your most loyal servant and humble petitioner while I live,

Miss Liserett O’Kleefe
Chester-le-Ford

For the attention of the surviving members of the O’Kleefe family,
Chester-le-Ford, Duchy of Wysteria

A harrowing tale of the loss of your beloved mother, her generosity and kindness will be remembered wherever a potted cactus plant is spotted around the empire. Their widespread sightings are a testament to your late mother's magnanimous actions and friendly temperament.

It is with great sorrow that we hear of her passing, although with a shard of hope in the form her you, Miss Liserett, to continue your mother's esteemed legacy. She will not be remember by her final months, but rather by her unflinching resolve to survive, prosper and produce many wonderful memories and friends.

The fledgling nation of Dawnstar is at your disposal for any and all assistance you may require in turning Chester-le-Ford around again.

Your friend and ally in the West,

Letter to Lady Samaia Almandine, Duchess of Dawnstar

Dear Duchess, your words warm my heart and lend me strength. Indeed, my Mother’s legacy is great, I shall do my best to be true to her name and build on the foundations she laid down before me.

I am honored that you would extend your friendship to me as you did to my Mother. Be assured that the O’Kleefe House remains your faithful ally as well, your name came up countless times during my education, I can proudly assert that you are an inspiration for me. On this subject, I realize I have yet to visit you in Dawnstar, this is inexcusable. I have heard much of your Duchy and you can expect my visit soon, after the funeral rites are over naturally.

For Glory!

Your loyal friend, Miss Liserett O’Kleefe

Dear Liserett,
I send my condolences for your mother and the pain you feel must be unbearable. I myself lost my father at around you age when he ended his own life, I think it's time like these that we must surround ourselves with our allies and begin to grow our bonds. Should you ever need help feel free to call upon me or my family. I fear I shall not be around much longer but while I'm still here I am always willing to lend a hand to those in need. Know that your allies in the south are always ready to help. I wish you the best

Letter to Lady Kati Thanort, Duchess of Kaine

Duchess, I thank you deeply for your condolences, your concerns touch me and help alleviate some of the weight my parents' passing set on my heart.

Your bringing up of the bonds between our families makes me realize how I neglected my allies of the South. Kaine is so close and yet I have only seen it in paintings, never with my own eyes.

I shall remedy to this as soon as the current events allow it, I am eager to meet with you again.

Truly yours,
Miss Liserett O’Kleefe

Lady Liserett

It is with the greatest sadness I hear of the passing of your parents. As a fellow orphan, I understand the pain and loss you must feel. Though I personally never met your father, I did meet your mother once when she visited Tremaine. It was a long time ago and I was but a child, yet I still remember her by the green cactus she left for my family, a relic I am glad to say still grows strong within my city.

I feel to you some owed debt. I had intended to visit your mother before her death with a gift of our own Perthian flowers. I am sorry I was not able to return her favour, and I am equally sorry the friendship of our houses has grown in distance. If you will have me, I would like to visit Chester-le-ford and offer you my assistance wherever necessary.

Your ally, Count Ferris of the House of Felandrison.

Letter to Count Ferris of the House of Felandrison

Dear Count, it is with emotion that I receive your letter, indeed who else could better understand my pain and my sorrow.

I shall welcome the honor of your visit, although I'm afraid Chester-le-Ford is but a gloomy ghost town these days.

I await you and look forward to bringing our Houses closer once again.

Sincerely,
Your friend and ally, Miss Liserett O’Kleefe

My Dearest Liserett,
My deepest condolences to you and yours, child. While I have never met you I thought of Biakko as a dear friend and nearly family and therefore feel the same towards yourself. If you need any help at all or even just emotional support, I am there for you. Please be safe and healthy, child.
