Lore:
Gourdham was founded at roughtly the same time as Acholm. Gourdham served as Acholm's chief competition, both economically and politically for over 100 years. However, Gourdham lost influence once Ealdorman Mark Accynnafon I chose Acholm as his capital. Gourdham's economy is largely based on gourd farming, however, the economy has diversified in the last 50 years and serves as the second largest port in Östlaed. Home to the Castle Gourdburg.
