Backstory: Pylos was a member of the original group of Casadians to arrive in Old Hermertia. He was charged with leading the Casadian colonists in their new home. He was a Casadian traditionalist who ensured that the Casadian political and economic system was preserved in the context of the Mercurian Empire. He distrusted outsiders, leading to little diplomacy between Casadia and the rest of the Empire during its early years. He relinquished his role as Guardian when he was summoned to the west by the Altheri. His departure marked the last known contact between the Altheri and the Casadian colony in Hermertia.
