One after the other, major cities and settlements in Hermertia are visited by a bellman and a town crier riding beautiful, yet obviously tired horses. Both men are well dressed, although clearly not local. Upon their arrival, they head directly for the central place, and the bellman energetically brings attention to them as the town crier pulls out a
scroll. He reads the whole thing, as loudly as he can, progressively turning an impressive shade of burgundy.
They then seek an inn, and after a good night of sleep and a healthy breakfast, leave the innkeeper with a few copies of the scroll as well as a generous tip, go cry their message one last time, and ride out to the next town.
