Abstract:
So after wide-spread sampling, I have come to a scientifically objective conclusion:

Expensive Scottish Whiskey > Expensive Canadian Whiskey. Oh definitely.

Cheap Scottish Whiskey < Cheap Canadian Whiskey. Seriously, cheap scotch is terrible. Whereas cheap rye is something you can chug like a house wine (with the same alcohol content).

Methodology:
Science and stuff.

Conclusion:
For my regular fix, I'll hit up a CC for the same price as a bottle of wine. For my fancy fix, it'll be exquisite single malt barrelled master-pieces from the highlands.

I've never sampled Canadian whiskey of any calibre. I will need to collect more information before I feel comfortable contributing *Looks at prices of Canadian booze*

The cheap stuff is like paint thinner mixed with piss. Over in the UK theres a minimum spend I wont go below when it comes to Whiskey. Otherwise, disappointment awaits.....

TBH this is like basically an anthropological documentary. My cousins up in the woods sound exactly like this, like completely. Fuckin eh there bud.

We're polite, but we're far too more often than not drunk and swear like crazy. What else are we supposed to do? Sometimes I envy and prefer the Nicholas-like Canadians, a nice civilized change of pace.
