Here is my build submission: the Wicked Tree.

Found in the swamp south of Miradost, the Wicked Tree has claimed the sanity of many a Casadian so ill-fated as to come across it. Those that dare venture near the tree tell stories of an inhumane wailing emanating from it that tests the courage of even the bravest warrior. The few that foolishly travel to its cursed isle never return with their minds intact, if they return at all. The survivors are found wandering the swamp, having torn their own ears out and muttering but two words: Wicked Tree.

Samaia have been working on our own entry (WARNING Extensive lore may be TLDR, also potentially risque subject but still very terrifying):

The sun was setting as a group of small children ran, each no more than seven, screaming through the wood as they chased each other with sticks and clacked their shins. One girl screamed as one of the boys struck her, then fell to the ground, fresh tears running down her face.

"You hit her too hard!" Called one of the girls.

"I did not!" Yelled the boy. "Get up!" He called to the girl, but she shook her head.

"Eoghan, you can't hit girls like that!" Called one of the boys.

"Yeah, Sean is right!" agreed the first girl. the other children gathered around them slowly. Finally Eoghan turned back tot eh crying girl and crouched before her.

"I'm sorry I hit you." She sniffed as she looked up at him, them smiled.

"It's okay," she said at last. He helped her to her feet and she wiped her dress free of dirt.

"C'mon, last one back to Tremaine is a rotten egg!" Called the eldest boy. The children scampered, fleeing into the woods. One of the boys gripped Eoghan's shirt and dragged him back, throwing him into the dirt before racing past him, yelling "See ya loser!" Over his shoulder. One of the girls cackled at the remark and they disappeared through the trees.

Eoghan drew himself up, spitting with anger as he wiped dirt from his clothes, before following at a slower pace. Soon Sean appeared again, alongside Muragh. Eoghan smiled as he saw them; his best friends would never leave him behind.

"C'mon slow-poke!" Sean called, waving him forward. Eoghan jogged toward them and together they continued through the trees. They soon found the trail at the edge of the woods and looked up at the hill which overlooked the area. High above them stood the large stone mansion which dominated the valley.

"It's the witches' house!" Called Murtagh, pointing. "They say three witches live up there! They come down to prey on kids in the darkness!"
"Nonsense!" Sean called, waving a hand at the younger boy. "There's no such thing as witches."

"I dare you to go up there!" Eoghan smirked, nudging Sean with his elbow.

"Nuh! You go; you're the reason we're still out here!"

"Yeah, Eoghan you should go!" Murtagh smiled.

"Why me?" Eoghan asked, pointing at Murtagh. "If anything, he should go cause he's the youngest!"

"You're only older by two months!" Murtagh shouted.

"Yeah, but I'm still older!"

"We'll all go," Sean nodded. Eoghan frowned at him as Murtagh nodded.

"Yeah, let's all go." Eoghan shrugged, then together they climbed the hill.

They emerged onto the hilltop to see the winding gravel path leading up to the tall stone walls. Iron bars guarded the perimeter atop the stone, and the main gate stood ajar. Holding their breath, the boys approached.

The gardens were overgrown and unkempt. around the edge of the walls, oaken branches hung from numerous trees which hid the garden. Two fountains stood on either side of the path, the water frozen in the chill Perthian night. Before them stood the mansion, the twin stairs leading up the open doors below a large window of white and purple stained glass, the purple forming a cross high above them. Swallowing hard, Eoghan moved forward, the other two following close behind.

Carefully, they moved up the stairs and pushed the door open wide enough for them to walk in. The hinged creaked with age and echoed through the large foyer. The hall was lit with numerous torches and two chandeliers which hung from an arches ceiling. They crept forward across the moth-eaten carpet and up the stone steps to a roaring fireplace fed by netherrack. On either side stood more stairs lined with aged paintings.

"This way," Eoghan whispered, his voice echoing through the dusty hall. They moved up the stairs to the right and pushed up the door that stood ajar. At their touch, the hinges gave way and the door fell forward, slamming into the ground in a cloud of dust. All three boys screamed, gripping each other until the dust settled to reveal an empty room. They released each other, Sean pushing Murtagh away as if he were an infected animal, before they stepped over the fallen door.

The floorboards creaked as they made their way through the empty room toward a wide staircase at the far end. They looked up the middle of the stairs to see several windows showing a dark night's sky. Slowly, they climbed the steps and looked out the window to see the full moon staring down at them, the sun now hidden beneath the edge of the world.

"We should go now," Murtagh whispered.
"Yeah," Sean nodded.
"C'mon girls, what's the worst that could happen?" Eoghan asked, looking back at them. They looked back at him fearfully, then Eoghan gripped one of the torches from a bracket beside them and lifted it above their heads. "C'mon, it's not that scary." Slowly they followed the older boy up the stairs and to another door. This door stood shut. Eoghan carefully lifted the latch and made to open the door. A clash of thunder rocked through the house and Murtagh let out a scream as Sean grabbed at his mouth, silencing him.

"Shut up!" He whispered. Murtagh nodded once as Eogahn rolled his eyes, pushing the door fully open.

They stood in a long room directly above the foyer. To their left stood the purple crossed window they had seen from outside, and on the opposite wall, half way down the room, was a large monument of a man's face which filled the wall. A double bed stood before the face and opposite it stood a long table with a potted poppy, now withered and dead. Painting lined the walls and, in contrast to the rest of the mansion, the torches stood devoid of light. As they stepped further into the room Murtagh made a whimpering noise and both boys turned to look at him incredulously. His face looked pale in the torchlight as he stared ahead of them, pointing with one trembling hand. They followed his finger to a table at the far end of the room where a table stood before a wide window. Behind the table sat a figure upon an ancient chair. Fear gripped them and for a long moment no one moved. Slowly Eoghan took a step forward, but both Sean and Murtagh grabbed his arm. He turned to see them mouth "No, don't do it," he remembered the other children laughing at him as he was thrown back into the mud and he felt a steel enter his heart. He straightened his back, then pulled himself free of their grip and walked slowly forward. As he passed the bed, the sheets worn by time and parasites, lightning flashed and a clap of thunder made his jump. He cursed silently as he continued forward toward the table.

Slowly the figure came into the torch light and he saw the skeleton, with maggot-eaten skin drawn taught over the bones. A fur-lines cloak hung over his shoulders and a crown rested upon his head. Two empty eye sockets stared at the parchments before him. Eoghan swallowed as he edged closer, inspecting the papers. He was the son of a noble, as such had some knowledge of the runes used for writing. He could not make out most of the untidy handwriting, but could see enough to identify the signature upon the parchment before the skeleton. The quill still stood in the bony hand, resting beside the parchment where he had scrawled his signature. Eoghan reached out a hand and touched the paper to get a better look. As he moved the paper, the skeleton shifted and the skull fell forward, landing on his hand.

He screamed as the skull separated from the body and rolled over the desk, the crown falling to the floor and spiraling around the floorboards. Lightning struck outside as Eoghan felt goosebumps run across his entire body. Still screaming he turned and ran back toward his friends, who were already running from the room. They fled the building, running out the door the door and across the garden, not even noticing the bronze plaque beside the door which read "Commissioned: Dragon 0-8 By the Regency of the Empire"

If by some miracle you wish visit the site, the mansion is located near to Tremaine. Simply go through the Tremaine Netherportal, navigate South, out of the city, and then follow the torch road west across small stone bridge and through the oak woods. You'll see it on the right behind a lonely oak tree
