It is now our job to ratify this legislation or send it back to the Council, either with amendments or for veto. May I remind the House that the threshold for ratification or veto is 50% + 1, or 4 Dukes.

Correction - you can propose the ratification but you don't have to ratify the bill for it to pass (except for your own bills). You can, however, veto the pass once and that would require the Kings and Dukes to vote again on it.
