Congratulations on achieving your required votes! Now that prospective lieges may begin to extend offers, I would like to throw my name into the hat and extend you an invitation to the lands of Wysteria.

After over 150 years – two years in real life – of history as part of the Kingdom of Ertia, I and a group of adventurers set off in search of our own lands. The result is Wysteria, a great land in the making. Accompanied by my stalwart vassal Count Merry, I have founded the Duchy of Laval and, within it, the County of Limoges – names that, our historians have found, seem to share roots with what little we now know of the Marseean language. A coincidence? Time may tell.

With the goal of one day becoming a powerful realm, fast progress is being made. The foundations for the great city of Gallen are being laid as I write this, with work already largely complete on the sprawling docks that will form the core of its economic and trading hub. The land itself is suited to a multifaceted realm, with nearby biomes including plateaux, deserts, beaches, plains, savannah, and swampland. With both Merry and myself nearby, Wysteria offers both close support and vast stretches of unexplored land to make your own. It is a land where anyone can pursue their goals and have a hand in the beginnings of a new history.

If you’re interested, I’ve included a few pictures of Wysteria and its environs:

Image
A map of the lands of Hermertia, with Wysteria’s location circled. Both a good ways off from neighbors and close to the center of the East, Wysteria’s location allows for unimpeded expansion while remaining in the thick of international business; we maintain strong ties with Ertia (not far to the north of us) and are a mere 10-minute travel via the Nether Lines to the Imperial Isle and Mount Empire, the future Capital City of the Empire.

Image
A slightly outdated shot of Gallen’s dock’s under construction: complete with two cranes, market stalls, and ore processing, the city looks on track to become an economic hub. Special facilitie have also been created to host fishing derbies in the future – these are spur-of-the-moment contests we have to see who can fish the best loot in a short period of time, and they are a blast!

Image
A sample of the varied geography that makes Wysteria such an interesting location: Gallen’s town proper is set to be constructed on one such plateaux as shown here; separated by winding rivers that lead to murky swamps, leafy forests, and sweltering deserts, we have it all!

Image
A map of Wysteria made using Amidst, a Minecraft mapping program. This shows off the variety of our lands: in a small region, newcomers have access to locations in many different biomes. (Gallen is located in the grey area in the bay)

As to your requests, I would leave it up to you to decide what best suited your interests; whether it would be founding your own county, travelling Wysteria to construct builds, or anything else. Your options would be open: as a newer land with plenty of room, you could pursue a higher rank, travel the Empire through our accessible nether lines, or just about anything else! I would also be able to guarantee as much support as you need: Wyesteria has been propelled to economic success through such industrial innovations as our Beacon Mines, ensuring full coffers and plentiful resources.

If you’re interested, don’t hesitate to shoot me a pm with questions or post them here! In the meantime, I’m sure others will be making offers too; good luck in choosing!

Dear Your Excellency, Sir Nicholas, Duke of Wysteria,

I am most grateful for ye offer which is generous and kind and quite prompt.

Yer Duchy seem beautiful and far enough away from Maarsea, which I’m not from anyway so that doesn’t matter, hahaha. But it’s a plus. Anyway. I am most impressed by yer gorgeous lands that overflow with potential like a blank canvas of the finest quality.

Also I love fishing, so that’s jolly.

I shall consider yer tempting offer with due care!

Please allow me time to make a formal offer as that is my intent. I am at work right now but should have time either tonight or tomorrow.

Im glad youre not jumping at the first offer, i'd give a day or two to let more people throw their votes in when they get the chance (after work and stuffs)

I cannot recommend my Liege Lord Scrios enough, he is a wonderfully kind, generous, fun loving and extremely active player. Myself and Scrios have been together in the Kingdom of Perth for 2 years now and we've had great fun at home and abroad around the different lands of the Empire.
I couldn't think of anyone better to be as your Liege, and it also means that I will be around as well. Scrios and I co-build almost always so we'd love to have your input or to help you get started on your area :)

Wait for Scrios's post, he'll put it significantly better than me :P

Thank you for your advice and words for King Scrios's offer to be. I look forward to work with many and so I foresee a very difficult choice coming my way!

I will take as long, to take a decision, as my restlessness allows / as liege offers trickle in.

Potentially Sunday, after my second coffee ^.^

I would like to offer you a place in Casadia. Our people have a long history of taking in bastards and castoffs from other nations. You would surely find yourself right at home among us. Below is a map of our current territory.

Image

Outside of the northwestern cluster of cities, our lands are largely uninhabited and ripe for development. The southern and central parts of our territory are mostly jungle and mountains. The eastern frontier features a variety of biomes such as plains, mega taiga, and roofed forest. A road has already been built from Voltau to our eastern border, making travel through these areas quite easy. Should you choose to settle with us, you would have your choice of settlement location. I would also provide you with finely crafted tools and other resources to help you achieve prosperity. Your land would be yours to develop and rule as you saw fit. Any resources you would gather would be yours to keep, as I do not wish to deprive you of the means to success. And should you ever wish to depart from our lands and start your own county, we would not hold you back. It is Casadia's desire to see all citizens of the empire succeed, regardless of where they live or who they serve. We would be grateful for any help you would have given us during your time with our people. I wish you the best of luck as you choose your liege.

I must say I appreciate that you welcome... ahem... bastards and castoffs and the like, not that it applies to me but if it did it would definitely be a plus. Hypothetically.

I shall definitely consider your offer with care! =)

Welcome to Hermertia, I would like to extend a hand of friendship to you as you create a new life in our world. With that I would offer you a place in my lands under myself. With a few loyal men and some mighty awesome vassals I've built up an amazing network of towns and created fantastic friendships at the same time. Right now I'm working in the south on a fun new project with the Casadians and the GRHH. As you can see from this map (which sadly needs updating as we have actually acquired more land) we own a large swath of land which needs filling.
Image

I would love to have you as a Vassal as your build style is intriguing and your story telling is just plain fun. As your liege I promise to fulfil all of the items on your checklist and always be there to help you out. Feel free to ask Asamu, I'm a lovely Liege. That is... when I'm not torturing my good friend Sameria of Perth with my utter shiteness. Moving forward, should you accept my offer you will be given full creative freedom to build almost entirely your own style. Of course I'll be there to help and always giving you little things to do but mostly you'll be able to just decide how you want to live your life. Anyway, thanks for considering me, even if you dont choose me as your liege I'm quite excited to see you on the server and can't wait to make your acquaintance!
