I have returned to again join in the building of this new minecraft world!

My name is Joren. They say my ancestors were once great princes and princesses of a distant land, but of this I cannot be certain. What I do know is that I no longer possess this royal title. My people have come to this land in search of fertile soil to till and stone to build with. I humbly submit our fiefdom for the approval of the great lords of this world in the hopes that we may gain access to trade and all that comes with our new connection.

From the journal of Joren, Lord of River's End:

The Year of the New Harvest has begun in River's End. Stonemasons are tirelessly working to construct walls along the new harbor bazaar. Smog fills the air as furnaces work to churn out endless stone for our projects. Two towers have risen, almost overnight, to dominate the southern skyline with their presence. We hope to finish this project yet this year.

On the north end of the city, the first Redstone Guild in this new land has finished construction. New members fill its hall, and their bellies, while they plot ever more complex city projects. We have begun to see travelers from distant lands join us at meetings, sharing their culture and ways. We're grateful that we built many rooms for them to stay upstairs in the tavern as long as they wish.

Plans have emerged for the construction of great shipping vessels in the eastern city port. The yet unnamed river bordering our great city is traversable to a northern ocean. We hope to establish shipping lanes with neighbors that border this oceans coast.

I must retire to my bed for the night. I'll continue to document the progress of our city as it comes.
