The growth of Erikos has been exponential. With Unity Street completed and two boats in the Erikosian navies, it was time for the next stage. With a stroke of a pen on parchment the first batch of soldiers were ordered to be trained. This first group of soldiers within the militia would mostly consist of horse archers, with fine horses being provided by the village of Testipolis. 50 men shall be trained in the art of horse archery, 20 shall be light foot soldiers, 10 shall be heavy foot soldiers, and a further 10 shall be trained as elite guards. Though this army is small it will be well trained and will hopefully provide protection to all citizens of Erikos. Upon completion of Fort Greenwatch, the army shall be moved there to be the dedicated militia of Erikos. The troops shall be used to provide defence to the people of Erikos, helping with the startling increase of bandit raids occurring on the far south and far north of Erikos.
