Within the borders of the County of Erikos there is one known native settlement, with a second being just south of the border. The village within Erikos has a population of just 855, though at current times that makes up 93.5% of the Erikosian population. Trade, though simple, has already started between the village in Erikos and the one slightly south, with simple goods being traded such as wheat, logs, and beetroots, in exchange for weaponry and fine wool. As the map shows, the routes go both overland and overseas. The overland route uses traditional small caravans consisting of donkeys to carry the goods with one or two people leading them on their travels. The sea routes consists mostly of 2-man boats retrofitted to fit chests rather than a second person. All routes do not produce much wealth, but it certainly an exciting start to what will hopefully become a trade hub.

In order to boost trade, I have declared the village in Erikos to be called Testipolis and is to be renovated by a team lead by Baron Tehlmar. The natives are incredibly welcoming of this plan, and education programs are being set up to teach the natives the languages and customs of my fledgling realm.

I trust your people will also in turn learn the languages of their native people. Good fortune to your new realm!
