Can we just copy and paste from the archived site and then format it in the editor for each page? |

I ran some software to download the pages directly in website form. So yeah it should be easy to set up mediawiki (its in wiki format) and put them there. |

I had a thought. Any way that we can find out where the old site was hosted? They often do backups, we could raise a ticket and see if we can get a site backup sent to us? Edit: http://whoisrequest.org says it's on justhost.com |

That would be cool if they had a backup, the previous hosts seemed to be mightily incompetent though, wouldnt put it past them to not have anything! |

Regent said something about the hosts never responding to his tickets, but I on't know if he ever requested a backup of not. Worth a look! |

So question: what's up with the library? Are we waiting on something specific? Is everybody waiting on other people to set it up? Do we have an established structure for it? Do we know what support we'll use? Is it the wiki Sam had started and nobody seem to fill / update / remember? Whats up? I'd like to suggest a thing: The LoreKeepers of Hermertia, a team of dedicated scholars working under the direction of the LoreMaster, elected on a basis coinciding with the Ministers' terms. Active and dedicated members who are willing to push the updating of the library. There's so much that could go in there! We have a lot of players, a long history and maps, lore, laws, a ton of stuff that is accumulating. The longer we wait to organize and cross reference everything, the more overwhelming it will become. Compiling, organizing and updating information is something that needs everybody's ongoing effort, but it will be more motivating to keep at it once it's set up. What do we think? |

I think that the Minister of History would fill the role of your idea of a LoreMaster, otherwise we would end up with a pair of redundant positions. And people who want to help the Minister of History work on the library more then just updating their own stuff could be Deputy Ministers or Sub Ministers or whatever appointed by said Minister. |

It would be awesome if we could get the wiki up and running once again. Truly would be the last thing we need before we're up to pre-second unraveling status. |
