Now got Carrickshire as well...according to your FAQ Tremaine is fucking huge.

Carrickshire - Kingdom of Perth

Tremaine - 70,000
Mt Foliantos - 10,500
Sidh Glen - 2,500
Southern Fort - 250 garrisoned

EDIT: Tremaine from 110,000 to 70,000.

A note on metropolis', the general idea was that they would be Concordia-equivalent cities. Perhaps I should have made that more clear in the FAQ. Though both Tremaine and Chester-le-Ford are well on their way to Concordia size, so it should not be too much of a discrepancy.

Yeah, on the FAQ the population jumps from 30 buildings to 31 buildings from 60,000 to 100,000. perhaps the number of building's isn't quite right for the scale of the builds.

Gotta use common sense, at 29 buildings, I determined C-l-F population to be 55k. It's a scale and the number of buildings is only one factor.

We should also determine the nature of the buildings, the density of population in lore, even the history could have repercussions on the population-based count as wars kill people in villages while refugees might raise the count in fortified settlement... idk things to consider.

Liserett has it spot on. I wanted to include a building range for each classification based on existing examples, but I think those ranges still need some work. Building size and lore should also factor in to calculating the population. For example, Northtown has 30+ buildings, but only a couple of them are large. The lack of large buildings, as well as lore considerations, makes Northtown a city instead of a metropolis. Also, feel free to put populations in between the ranges for settlements that fall between categories.

I think this is starting to get closer to the consensus that we need. Your post about the changes makes sense to me.

I've been taking a back seat on this one, but I'll do some digging based off of the capable start made by Liseret and get some numbers to you.

Thanks all for your work on this interesting aspect of Hermertia. It's always at lest a bit tricky trying to apply irl concepts of demographics and population scale and scope to Minecraft, but it looks to me as though you're succeeding with flying colors :)
