The Laghiman Parliament has acted to pass a joint resolution establishing a temporary commission to investigate the growing tension in the realm of Östlaed.

The commission, known as the Östlaed Investigation Commission (OIC) is mandated by the Laghiman Parliament to publish a report assessing the situation in Östlaed and the threat to Laghiman and Imperial safety within two years time. Legislator Suresh Khan of the Laghiman Democratic Body was named Chairman of the commission.

Ilkhan Hasan 'Darius V' Stark legalized the commission by reluctantly signing the associated legislation. The Ilkhan, who wishes to remain neutral in any conflict that may be stirring, warned that this commission may be interpreted as a threat to Östron sovereignty by some figures in the Östron government.

The Östlaed Investigation Commission has dispatched an investigation team of three (3) individuals, Safrat Mahn, Herald Ölarhn, and Adam Wafald, to Östlaed in order to gather information for the commission's report to the Laghiman Parliament. The team is expected to return in one months time.
