534 A.I. – The days are long and the sun is hot, every day longer I work I wonder ever more why I settled the Scarlet Territories in this barren desert. The prospects of being the empires largest glass supplier is but a faint glimmer of light in a seemingly never-ending tunnel. The small population I work aside has started to complain about the heat and working conditions, we recently completed a vast store house to serve as the Territories main storage facility. The people seemed to enjoy working on the project as it was constructed underground in the cool rock, out of the way of the ever-burning sun. Every new cave that was discovered released cool air that kept everyone happy and in good spirits throughout the construction. Now that the project is complete and everyone has moved back to working on the surface, many people have moved into make-shift homes buried in the ground in an attempt to combat the heat. This has made me realize that we need to change our direction, we need to move the population into the earth, so what I want to propose to the people is to formally construct the town partially underground. We must work fast as I worry about the structural integrity of their make-shift homes and am afraid of a collapse. |

The people must adapt to their environment, it's the only way to live in such harsh conditions. |

Aye, you Umri could learn a lot from the Dwed. Just be careful, the undrumm is very fickle. She may keep you cool in the Summrumm and warm in the Wintrumm, but she will take ye anym just as easily if'n ye aren't careful. |

So umm, I sort of forgot that I wrote this last night.... Good read, but its funny I don't remember writing it. |
