An Anti-Imperialist movement led by Tirgan Sovn that has been growing in the depths of Laghima's southern settlements sprung to action in the early months of 545 AI. Tirgan and his rebels rose up against the regiment stationed in Sersa and quickly took control of the settlement for over a week. The Laghiman Guard were immediately called into action and launched a counter attack which would ultimately cripple the rebel forces. Initial reports after the battle revealed that Tirgan had been receiving funds and materials from an Anti-Imperialist figure somewhere in the Eastern Empire and was attempting to take control of Laghima, or at least prepare the realm for another to rule over it. The revolt was ultimately suppressed and Tirgan has been taken into custody, though numerous attempts to escape have been made. This is yet another troubling development in the Imperial Civil War, and the Laghiman Guard members that lost their lives in the Battle of Sersa will forever be remembered for their contributions to Laghiman, and ultimately Imperial, safety. |

An unfortunate development. It is surely a good thing that the forces of Laghima so swiftly dealt with this act of violence. |
