I took a shot at designing a parkour venue. Screenshots with explanations are below.
This is the venue from above and from ground level. It is composed of four separate 'pits' in which up to four contestants will race up a parkour course starting at the bottom. There will be a ladder leading down to the starting areas. Pressing a button at the top of the course will signal completion for the given contestant.
This is a screenshot of what the top of the pits will look like (album of course here). Each pit will have its own color associated with it. The glass on top of the pits allows the audience to view the progress of the contestants.
This is the scoring mechanism found in the center of the venue. As each contestant presses their button, their color will be pushed into the center and then pushed up. This will create a pillar of colored clay showing the order in which the contestants finished (first place will be on top).
