The Winter of 539 has been a particularly cold one. Many are sick. An influenza spreads from village to village. There's only so much strong ale will do. From the poor miner and fishermen to merchants and nobles, this demon knows not wealth. The coming of a fiery tailed star this winter is seen as a bad omen by many. Even the Ealdorman is rumored to have fallen sick due to this great plague. |
