Official Announcement from the Östur: An ambush occurred on Ealdorman Mark Accynnafon's company as he returned from Túnindæl in the winter of 533. The ambush was composed of 4 groups of assailants utilizing explosives. Many were injured, including the Ealdorman, however, he will live and the injuries were not life threatening. The bodies of the assailants were burned mostly beyond recognition, however, evidence found at their camp nearby suggest they were junior monks of the Order of Sanct Creopbaina and had fundamentalist associations. An investigation into this matter has been called by House Accynnafon. |

This is concerning news from Östlaed. Hopefully this was just an isolated incident. |

I hope that the Ealdorman recovers from his injuries swiftly and that those who disagree with him choose less cowardly and vicious means of expressing their view. |
