Post subject:  Parliamentary Issues Regarding the Codex

Recently, the entire Imperial Codex and Indoles Carta were modernized.

A few issues I noticed tonight, when looking for the laws on independent realm claims:

* The Indoles Carta used for months from the end of the Dark Age until Re-ratification of the old Indoles Carta has been deleted from the Imperial Codex. This is a historical document was the constitution of the Mercurian Empire for many Mercannums, and as such, should not have been deleted.

* Parliament has failed to reintegrate the laws on making a claim for the creation of an independent realm as found in Council Bill #3: viewtopic.php?f=64&t=155. This should likely be modernized as well.

The prior version of the Carta was not deleted, as I knew it was a historical document that should certainly be preserved. It was simply moved over to the history subforum, and can be viewed here: viewtopic.php?f=9&t=335 . Perhaps we should look into finding a new place for it, but it is still eminently accessible!

Parliamentary archivists and legal scholars shall immediately begin examining the Land Claims language so as to see how we might integrate this into the current Act.
