I propose that we add a 24 hour period between the time a war is declared, and the time that the war becomes active.

I agree with this proposal. It will cut down on the potential for dickish behavior.

I like this idea but 24 hours seems like a long time, also I'm thinking should you wish to just push ahead and both parties agree to it you can begin a war immediately.

I am fine with allowing early starts if both parties agree to it.

I do think there should be a certain time limit, someone shouldn't be able to delay it for more than a 24 hour period.

Yeah, someone can just never agree and the war will never start. They should have to acknowledge it in some way, kind of like being served. If they can be confirmed acknowledging the war, like telling them in game or on the forums, then a time period of an hour or so should be in place before the war officially starts.

Also, while we're on the topic of changing war laws. We need to address the topic of pre-built structures within the borders of an enemy faction as that has been a problem multiple times in the past.

Oh yeah, that is a good point. How did we miss that when we just re-ratified the war act?

Obviously lore wars can allow that per the organizer of the lore war, but yeah, we had discussed that and agreed it wasn't cool in actual war.
