Would love if you could make one of the north east as well :D Most of Ertia is cut off in this one, sadly.

Really cool! I'm guessing this uses seeds? Given the corridorlands is not accurate?

Glad to see there are new mapping options since I last explored. Anyone run into a good one that doesn't use seed? With high rez? Would love to build a Google maps again

That would have to be server based, so really it's only possible for Siden to make that.

We should at least once every quarter upload the server files to a passworded place for people to apply to have access to, to enable experimentation of mapping. Seeing as how there are many entrepreneurial types across the community

All 80+ GB? Very few people have machines capable of dealing with that I'd think!

This is most certainly true. I had to optimize file use carefully to get the experimental Google maps up I had uploaded in the past.

But still, those with good rigs and experimentation could find a very optimal and efficient process potentially. The good news is we have explored perhaps 30% of what we would want before mountain painting or sea painting. Meaning there is an upper limit on our hardware stress.

Corridorlands aren't shown in either picture! Fear not! They are of the eastern side of the map. The site that you can get these photos from is driven by the seed (http://mineatlas.com/?levelName=3683679 ... unks=false) ,
although it doesnt use large biomes but there is almost no change in geography, only coordinates, which for maps is almost negligible difference. That's the link for our seed, have a look, it's like amidst only it doesnt crash every 5 seconds! :D
