I assume Concordia and Babel are international territory? It would be interesting to have international territory on the map, just to make it clear that is isn't land that can be claimed / built upon, perhaps in white? As far as I know, international territory is comprised of:
Please correct me if I'm wrong EDIT: So what's Babel? I searched the forum and the only mention of it is the only I just made. Story? Ownership? What's up there? |

We have lost so much lore with the website being hacked last year. It has been a gruelling process keeping the server alive and kicking. There is a lot to restore and re-write. Its been hard and the motivation has been lacking for a while. As soon as Atryl gets the library finished we'll get it on the (slow) go again. Babel was at the mouth of the great river which was the only river route from the New World's Oceans through to Concordia, and beyond that, the Old World. It sprung up in response to the high levels of trading and shipping passing through the area. Provisions, taverns and a whole economy sprung up in its wake upon discovery of the River and the trading connection between the two areas. Upon this discovery, our people travelled up the long river, and happened upon the edge of the world, as well as the ancient river that connected the Old World with our current New World. The City of Concordia was founded in the foot of the mountains next to the wide river. Babel is the point that most travelled from to reach Concordia, a sort of spiritual journey along the river. |
