When we forge enchanted item we use different bloodlines to achieve different enchantments. Some of the blood is mixed into the material when it is extracted from the ore, as well as more of it being placed in the cooling water and becomes absorbed into the item completing the enchantment

I have added the different proposals for different methods of enchanting to the original post. If adjustments to the wording and/or greater detail is desired, let me know and I will make desired changes.

Blood magic and runes are the only "magical" methods available? We have masters of the Arcane Arts, magical properties and other such stuffs, wouldnt be outrageous to say that there's another method of putting an enchantment on a sword without a rune or blood related hocus pocus.

I have added what people have suggested. If you want other options to be available in lore, suggest them.

ah. I thought I had in my comment on page 1 but I wasn't very clear about it.

Sorcerous forging. Each item made is crafted by an individual who is an artisan, blacksmith, and sorcerer combined, to use commonly understood profession terms. Requiring numerous years to perfect the art, the few colleges and universities around the Empire train In some of these arts. It is perhaps not as widespread as the runic method or others either, but it has been observed in Valyria at the very least.
