I am announcing a run for Hermertian Culture Minister once again. As current Hermertian Culture Minister I have achieved several things: 1. Establishment of an Imperial Tome of Culture One of my campaign promises was to establish a sort of 'lore book' or series of documents about culture and it's effects around the Empire. I accomplished that goal and produced two of these, featuring Karsites and the Slayers' Guild. 2. Publication of a Great Cultural Site List Another campaign promise that I ran on was to establish a list of the ten greatest cultural sites within the Empire, based on different peoples' opinions. That list was officially published a few days ago and features several great sites, from the City of Concordia, The Great Tree of Fichina, and even Isla Verga. 3. Creation and Management of New Lore Pertaining to Cultures While not in my original campaign platform, this was something that I accomplished over time. While I claim no responsibility or credit for other's lore and work, I did manage to create my own and encourage others to do so. Some examples are Lineage, and in this thread New Campaign Pledges In a new term as Minister of Culture I would hope to accomplish several things: 1. Continued Publishing of The Imperial Tome of Culture I look forward to being able to publish more information about the various cultures and other things within the Empire and will gladly continue to do so as minister. 2. Creation of General Cultural Sites List While the current ten great cultural sites are on a published list, I still feel as if there are 'hidden gems' across the Empire that are yet realized as cultural sites. By publishing a new list every three mercannum or so (subject to change), more places can be recognized as cultural sites. 3. Studying Population of Cultures With work from the Grand Duke of Casadia on census data and populations being accomplished in the past years, I hope to further analyze this data and come up with more precise numbers on the spread of different cultures across the Empire.
