I am proposing a series of alterations to both the White Line and the Cyan Line. Please see the map below for said changes

Image

Why?

Since the last time the main lines were reclassified or amended, there has been a significant number of new realms founded in the far north of the empire, leading to a lot of nether activity in the northern half of the empire. Aside from the hazardous path branching off the Green Line, the only line that these new realms can be accessed through is the secondary line north of the current White Line.
Extending the White Line north to the junction which leads to Wychwood, Erikos and The Scarlett Territories would signify the increased importance of this line. The east/west portion of the White line would be reclassified as part of the Cyan Line. In addition I propose extending the Cyan Line which currently terminates at Fichina further north until it meets the line leading to Erikos. This will increase the travel options of anyone moving through either area.

What Next?
While the designation and reclassification of main lines is entirely within my remit as Minister of Surveyors and Engineers, I would like to first check with the community to see if there is anyone who disapproves, or has any better solutions. The realms primarily affected by these changes would be Dawnstar and Dor Erryn so I would seek to gain their approval above all else.

Providing there is no significant opposition, I intend to make a start on the required physical changes within the next few weeks, starting with a change in the location of stairs on the White Line to be further north, as previously agreed with Samyrrah, followed by the decoration of the new white line sections and then construction and decoration of the northern Cyan Line towards Erikos in co-ordination with Siden.

I am happy to take on a good deal of the work involved here myself, but should anyone wish to assist either with line construction or in the decoration, it would of course be very much appreciated

Thank you for your time. I look forward to further input

I support this change in full. This certainly makes more sense and will help direct people in the future when asking for directions in game and in other communication channels.

I like these ideas all around. Better organizing and ease of reference. Thanks for the proposal and it has my full support.
