Okay, heres some solution suggestions. People can take their pick, or suggest others. 1) We implement standardized crown systems requiring everyone with a crest to use the base model for the crown and filligree, with some measure of artistic liscence as i outlined in my previous post. 2) We allow people to use any style or crown they want, as long as it remains within certain size parameters for their rank (Que another discussion) 3) We implement no restrictions and anyone can use any crown they want. |

I like the idea of option 1 and 2 myself! It could offer some design freedom but also create a tradition that everyone could follow, thus unifying the community a little more. |

I'll place my thoughts here, even though I may have joined the party a bit late. The argument for standardization is a fair one. However, although the "Regent" title may no longer exist, I argue that tradition needs to be preserved in regard to his crest. The Regent was the FIRST king to be crowned in the empire and arguably his contribution towards the establishment of a stable empire in the early days of the server are unparalleled. I am not saying that he deserves special treatment because of this; but I do not feel any more inferior towards him because his crown, that he designed I might add, may look a tad bit more extravagant. If anything, I believe that the Emperor perhaps needs a redesign. The Empire is progressing at an extremely rapid rate, which certainly is a good thing. I just think that there are certain things that need to be preserved in order for us to retain our history, and remember our meager origins. |

Okay, this is from mobile so it's gonna be quick. Please guys, don't state that everyone on the server feels a certain way when some of us have said we don't. Please don't pretend that you aren't being rude, I'd say a lot of you were on both sides. And to add my two cents even though it probably doesn't matter, as I've stated before the regent is still the regent. It's his crest that he designed, if you think he shouldn't have it because of his actions that's fine, but something that someone creates I think they should have the right to use for a forum crest that in the end means very little. |

ALSO I WANT TO COMMEND THE EMPORER MYRON. He kept a cool head and was always looking to solve the problem, he has been an amazing first emporer and I'm so glad he took the role to heart! Thank you friend, you may be silly but you are still that, a friend to all. |
