In seriousness watch the Star Wars films, they are pretty decent. Though you may have trouble enjoying the prequels (episodes I-III) depending on your tastes. I'd personally watch 4, 5, 6, 7, then 1, 2, 3.

If you want to flesh out the prequels you can always watch the animated series, The Clone Wars, though once again that depends on your tastes.

For Star Wars viewing I would recommend the Machete Order: Episodes IV, V, II, III then VI. Notice I left out Episode I? It is Irrelevant to the Saga and adds nothing to the story arc . Trust me on this one

To add to the list of films, you need to watch Blazing Saddles, Young Frankenstein and AirPlane!

Ah yes, Machete order was the one I was looking for but couldn't remember! Blazing Saddles is also an interesting one, Nicholas.
