Oh wait what!? I wish I knew this was happening! What was your score?

I took it three times to get into my current phd program.

Final score: quant:73 percentile (apparently I legit am only a bit better than average at math), analytical reasoning (99 percentile, all three tests in fact!), verbal reasoning (95th percentile). So, I'm gud at engrish and analytical thinking, but not impressive at computations apparently. Poop. I only studied for the quant, for months (am disappointed). Buts nice only having 1% of folks beat my writing :P I'm les stupide at maths

Yeah! It's required for most of the physician assistant programs I will be applying to this fall. I'm slightly ashamed to say that I also only studied for the quantitative portion (if you count 1 week as studying;)). I have always been good at standardized tests, so I figured I could pretty much wing this one and do fine. Turns out, I was right!

Quant: 56th (shitty, but most PA schools only need to see you're over 50th)
Verbal: 81st
Analytical: 80th

So, my lack of studying and only taking the test once strategy paid off in the end!!! During the test I kept telling myself, "Josh, you dumbass, why didn't you study for this? Now you'll have to retake it and pay another $200!" However, my lazy side knew what he was doing, and once again prevailed over my productive self. :D

I'm steaming with jealousy! Ahaha. I studied for months upon months and you strolled in after a week and got good scores for your program? Damn you smarty pants.

:D I very much thought that the test did a poor job of assessing my aptitude. I studied biology, not shitty high school algebra and vocab memorization! Like I said though, my schools just want to make sure you're not a complete dumbass before they accept you ahah

I KNOW RIGHT, the algebra portion was absolutely painful.

Is it bad if I now want to take GRE just to see how I do?
