I was just going to say, I think this post will end up getting weeded out by the mods. They are super strict on what you can and cannot post regarding server adverts on /r/minecraft. I've even had problems in the past just posting an image from our server, without asking anyone to apply or what not. I find its easier to post on /r/minecraftservers for the most part. It still gets us pretty decent exposure, and we won't have a problem with advertising. If anyone does decide to post in /r/minecraft literally do not mention the word server, or it will get deleted guaranteed. Super lame, I know. |

Yeah, we need to be super careful with ads on r/minecraft. But hey, it got us a couple potential applicants at least. |

Yep, the exposure is good. I think the original post is still around, just a few comments were ultimately deleted. I think we just need to use key words like "Hermertia," "Mercurian Empire," "large player base," etc. and people will figure it out. I just replied to a comment made on there and am waiting to see whether or not the mods end up deleting it. I think I'm walking a rather fine line with my wordage. |
