Greetings from the rugged frontier lands of Northern Isilioth and Western Ertia!

Having led a team of surveyors and geologists from Perth's finest Aedificans establishment, we have taken a look at this area for the development of a possible canal to link up the Imperial Ocean and the Ertian-Khabranth Ocean.

Please feel free to join us. I will be having our engineers setting up a Nether portal shortly, there whereabouts of which shall be made known to the public.

Lets get building! We can follow the river's rough course, avoiding too much meandering for the sake of ships trying to navigate!

You can see here the river and a near by native village on the Ertia Side.

You can see here also that the bay has incredible potential for a decent dockside area, stack it high with ships!

As neither an Ertian nor an Isilioth council approved or even acknowledged the production of this canal, I think you should hold off on any and all production for the time being.

Thanks for doing some scouting there Sam. I admit, I feel like now isn't quite the time to be embarking on this project when we have had such fantastic progress in the Imperial City. Back in the days of good King Isaac, he, Atryl, and I had planned on developing that land as a bit of a co-build project between the three nations. I think that potential still exists, but I'm not sure that I'd like it to be an Empire wide project. I sorta had a vision for what I'd like to do with the canal there. Perhaps we could hold off for a bit? :)

Preliminary surveying is all I was going to do until we had the go-ahead. The torches along the River were placed by King Robert or Cyrus a long time ago I think, it denotes the Isilioth border.

See you guys back at the Imperial City!

No worries! It is a prime piece of land that, I do agree, will need to be developed soon in the future. Canals are a fantastic idea and would make passage for ships much much easier. Maybe once Tiberton is complete we can think about heading that way :)
