So ive been thinking of making some trees for my new area, but I want them to be yellowish so ive been experimenting a little. Im a little unsure of using wool or clay on trees but i think im getting used to it. How does it look? any opinions?

Soratex Fanver (wool on left, clay on right) Ill most likely use wool

Yeah normal JS would be horrendous because of the stupid clay textures it uses.

I like these trees a lot!

Maybe post a picture without shaders? Shaders can often be misleading.

Colored glass mixed in could help give it a less dense look.

I don't really have anything constructive to say other than you're a wizard with those trees! They look really good.

I like these trees quite a bit, seeing as natural ones do not have anywhere near such beautiful coloration. I looked at some images of trees changing color on google, and it seems like the change moves through a tree's leaves in a wave, so maybe have the color still be scattered, but concentrate a bit more of green at the bottom, then red, orange, and yellow as you move up.

Also note that trees of the same species change color at around the same time and same rate.

That is true, but i feel like it would be hard to recreate that kind of detail without it just looking like a lolipop in minecraft
