Greetings Mercurians,

This is a note from the old world. A group of old elites fled Minerva during the economic and moral calamity that befell it. We have been working in the Old World since.

(Lore off: I have the old world files, if someone wants to upload them in?)

Given Crowns are not disbanded (only transferred or put in hibernation), I am wondering if it would be fitting for the title Kingdom of Greater Minerva to be reclaimed by surviving members of its old order (with a necessary punishment befitting said survivors, inherited from the fact they did nothing to stop the moral corruption of the past).

I think Atryl still had the old world files; we just haven't reconnected the worlds again yet.

Old World Files pls.

I would be all for the legitimate heirs to reclaim their Kingdom Status.

Outstanding to hear official word form the great Minervan peoples again! You have been missed on the Imperial stage.

I don't think we have a record of this - I don't even know if it was officially legalized - but I am fairly sure that the Minervan Crown is currently placed under an "Inactive" status, as per the terms of the Treaty of Thoth, which, to restate your points, "may delegate some Kingdoms as Inactive but recognizes all Kingdoms as Divine."

As far as I am aware, there was never actually any details spelled out as to how a Crown may become active again, only that it would require a unanimous Council decision. Speaking personally, I feel that the Minervan Crown could certainly become active again.

Wow, that's some impressive legal savvy memory! I myself forgot that ancient but still legal treaty! For those that don't know, it goes WAY back into the old-world era. I'm impressed! It was signed after, um. I forget which war, and for what? I do remember it was signed in Channoria though. This is why we need the library back! :) Working on that.

I love Hermertia's legal aspects :)

Yep, the library was certainly useful for this type of thing. When we get it back up again, we should have a section specifically for legal documents; this should include not only the Indoles Cart but also trestises and reference documents.

Really really good idea. I'm definitely looking forward to getting this back up. Losing it hurt me more than anything.

We have one of our friends to thank for a backup. Many mercannum ago, I was doing a mild update to the library, and she recommended I run a database backup before doing it just in case. I had completely forgotten about it until I was doing a file cleanup recently when I started moving some of my computers back to Canada in prep for my leaving Dubai.

Hey guys! Spending Easter with the family, but I'll pop in for a sec to second Nick's post. Nice to hear from you again, my Minervan ally! Yep, I do believe that you are legally entitled to your crown, as you merely have been listed as "inactive." Not sure lore wise who your reigning monarch is, but I'll leave that bit of lore up to you :) Once again, great to hear from ya!
