I am clearly the definition of a nobody, so that means I should, right?

You are a soon to be citizen of the Empire of Hermertia. That is about as far from nobody as I can think of. Are you using the "Unread posts" tab ? Its super useful for checking new posts on the forums.

Celestine its a big blobby Ghast in my wee tiny nether hub :P

Ah, yes me lord, so long as I'm not the daughter of anyone, it's all right!

Unread posts tab, I forgot about this! I didn't use a forum in quite a while, thanks for the tip =)

I see you use John Smith' Legacy, is it suggested for use on the server or should I pay attention to builds' aesthetics with the default textures?

In regards to texture packs, it's entirely up to you; a number of use, me included, use John Smith legacy because it tends to fit our medieval theme so well. But there are plenty of others used, and a general rule of thumb in building, I find, is that if it looks good in vanilla it will look good in any texture pack :)

Indeed, I mostly ask because I use JSL and I like to accessorize builds with paintings. I can do without them though, so it doesn't look weird in vanilla.

No one uses vanilla so please dont hesitate to decorate as much as you see fit with anything that you like :)
