Well I don't think this will be a concern, they are starting to scab. I never thought I'd be happy to have a huge patch of fucking scabs.

My laptop is currently in its death throes, so I may or may not be on the server for the next few days depending on whether or not it wants to boot/connect to the internet/*insert random problem here*. The good news is that I've got a shiny new computer coming next week, so I won't be gone long.

Specs:
6-core 3.50GHz CPU
GTX 960 4GB Video Card
8GB DDR3 RAM
1TB HDD

Nothing too crazy, but a big step up from my 4GB RAM/IntelHD3000 laptop. I'll probably get an SSD and some more RAM down the road too, but we'll see.

Looks like a solid budget build, very frugal but won't disappoint. What's the ETA for parts arrival, and will you have time to build it when they arrive?

I bought prebuilt actually. I was planning on building, but found this setup on sale on Newegg for the same price as buying the parts individually. So I figured I would skip the hassle of building. ETA is Monday, so I should be good to go Monday night.

Neat, what kind of warranty did it come with? That would be my only concern, as many individual parts like the hard drive can have far longer than the normal one year warranty.

I got a two year warranty on it IIRC.

Nice, might be short on the HDD but everything else usually is only one year. Hopefully nothing happens anyways! Seems like I'll go through some years and have 2-3 things fail, then won't have anything fail for 3-4 years after that.
