There were concerns it would reset the nether, I'd say wait for now at least until we can confirm this |

Lets make sure everything. and I mean everything. is in order before we upgrade. That means, plugins, any potential issues with nether, and whatever else. Someone do research and check. Lets not rush in because we want wings, kids |

Double up on the backups. Rebuilding the netherlines would be such a pain. |

make 47 different backup files of the nether and dead drop them in inconspicuous locations, then send every hermertian a list with 5 of the dead drops on it, in such a pattern that all are known by at least 3 different people. |
