Is it possible for the House of Dukes, Council of the Crown, or Parliament to make legislation regarding non-server Hermertia related things, such as adding/removing Discord or Forum sections or other similar related things, or is that out of the control of the Hermertian Government?

We usually just ask for extra forums within the existing Forum layout.

If it's ok with most people or there is a need for it, we just create it, I dont think we need a Law for these things :)

What is it you would like to have?

I wanted to ask this because I think it is rather odd and honestly disgusting that there is a chat on the Hermertia Discord dedicated to pornography. I was wondering if in the server's 'noble' context, it could be removed. There is absolutely no reason why we should have a chat on this server's official Discord channel devoted to displaying demeaning images and comments of nude women. I think that you should be able to do that stuff if you wish somewhere else, but we shouldn't have it on this server. I would like to have it removed

Do we need an act of Parliament, a vote from the Council of Dukes or the Crowned, or can something like this be enacted by an admin or other person without consent of the groups aforementioned?

I think just a discussion with the moderators/admins of the discord server would suffice.
While the text channel displaying the explicit content is not active by default and clearly marked as NSFW, I agree that it probably isn't befitting the ideals and image we try to promote for the server.

My suggestion.

In all seriousness, this is something we had discussed before - making it a bit more private, or invite only or something like that. Tiberius and I are fiddling with the server settings for Discord atm.

After discussion, I have made the new channel invite only, which can be through Admins or Mods. There are no notifications for it either. I feel this is a proper compromise, as there is no need to remove it entirely, as even some of the women of our server use it.

I'd like to also point out that demanding things be changed for your own personal feelings, with zero discussion in Proposed Legislation beforehand, is unlikely to go in your favor or do yourself any favors with regards to rank progression. Demanding it be enacted immediately is even worse.

This is a good option Tiber and thank you for making these changes. It is a simple fix to potential problems.

I know, I was just asked if there was anything that I wanted given the question asked, and had it been a different situation, I would have indeed gone to the Proposed Legislation section (though then again, seeing as it isn't really a 'legislation' issue/proposal, maybe the maintenance section would be better) . By the word 'immediately' I should have said by an admin or other person in control of that, rather than me commanding something be done this instant. In hindsight I could have used better phrasing.
