From the office of King Aven Arjen V - Roseaire, Ertia To the fair King Scrios, No doubt, word of what the scholars are now calling the "Eastern Imperial Civil War" has reached your lands. The east Empire is in shambles. Much of what our ancestors worked so hard to preserve, is now slipping away beneath my fingertips. I fear that Christopher, with the help of the Ostron pretender king Mark II, will take all of Ertia and the Empire's hold in the East will be no more. Your father and mine were close friends and allies back in the times after the Dark Age. Together they worked hard to continue the work of the glorious Empire. Today, I ask that your nation once again allies with mine to help destroy the scourge of anti-imperialism in the east. Ostron ships have reached Florae, and have cut off all maritime supply routes to Roseaire. A great deal of our wheat in the North is imported from the South, or other nations. As such, we are running dangerously low on our wheat stock. I ask that you find a way to send supplies to North Ertia. The success of our war campaign depends on it. Perhaps duke Siden Rua in DorEryn may be able to help facilitate the wheat across my borders? I shall dispatch a letter to him in time as well. I urge you to consider joining your forces with the Imperialists in the east. We will need all the help we can get to purge the Empire of those who seek to destroy it. For glory! King Aven Arjen V |
