Post subject:  Theft and Griefing in Gallen

Greetings.

Wysteria reaches out with grave tidings. At some point in the last 24 hours, a party or parties unknown committed multiple serious counts of theft and griefing in Gallen, capital of the Grand Duchy of Wysteria.

The nature of the thefts was as follows: at some point in the last 24 hours, unobserved by any who have so far come forward, a party or parties entered Gallen and committed a theft of at least 29 Wysterian banners, replacing them with another type of banner that can best be described as the face of a duck. Their is no clue as to the identity of the thief or thieves. The Wysterian banners have not been recovered at the scene and are thus stolen. Furthermore, many dozens of Chickens have been released into the chambers of the Wysterian Assembly, preventing the work of Ministers and seriously disrupting the workings of the government.

Wysteria takes this event seriously. In addition to the matter of the considerable amounts of resources used in the creation of the Wysterian banners that have now been stolen, there is the matter of disrespectful griefing which has occurred. Make no mistake; entering a sovereign realm with the intent to deface proud symbols of that realm's unity and release great masses of Chickens into the government building is not something to be taken lightly.

Evidence of Crimes Committed:

Accordingly, Wysteria is provisionally bringing the following criminal charges against the party or parties unknown:

- At least 29 counts of Theft, on the part of at least 29 Wysterian Banners in and around the Wysterian Assembly, Gallen.

- At least 30 counts of Griefing, on the part of the placing of 29 'Chicken Face' banners in and around the Wysterian Assembly, Gallen, and the disruptive and damaging releasing of many chickens in and around the same location.

- Contravention of the Do Not Be a Dink Act, on the part of a party of parties unknown who have knowingly shown contempt for the values of the community by committing covert theft and griefing with no result other than the defacement of another's property.

------

Wysteria is willing to dismiss these charges if the following conditions are met:

- A full and public apology is made in the Judicial Court on the part of the party or parties who committed these crimes.

- Full reimbursement is awarded to Wysteria and Duke Nicholas II in the form of:

a) The party or parties travelling to Gallen to remove all banners and evidence of their crimes, and

b) The replacing of all Wysterian Banners (design will be provided upon request) stolen to Duke Nicholas II.

If the following conditions are not met within 24 hours from the time of this announcement, Wysteria shall continue to press forward with this case.

Thank you.

At half past hen, a group of 6 poulpertrators crossed the road into the Wysterian Parliament. Donning the clothing of members of the Wysterian Parliament, they laid upon the coop some hundreds of eggs. It was a joke they thought to be most eggxcelent, however, said practical joke was not appreciated, as evidenced by this official filing with the Judicial Court of the Mercurian Empire.

It was found that among the 7 criminals that there were 1 Ostron, 1 Pyrencian, 1 Laghiman, 1 Casadian, 1 Gathered, 1 Wysterian, and 1 DorEryn Aethen. The banners are to be found in a chest in the Parliament.
