At it’s zenith, the higher members of the court, including the Regent himself, were caught having been involved with acts of local corruption, currency printing, and more, which brought about great inflation, unstable housing markets, crime, and impoverishment. This led to a great correction in markets, a strain on international relations, and eventually the emboldened corrupt elite from Ikwe took control of parts of New Minerva.
