=============================================

Cycle of the Phoenix 00-09, Year 480.
Official Announcement from the War Forum in the Imperial Palace.

The shattered remains of the strike force limped back to the seat of Imperial power in Hermertia.

They fell sword first into the Abyss, the realm of nightmares.

But they have returned, heavily diminished but victorious.

Catastrophic losses were sustained in the battle, with multiple confirmed deaths of Nobles and their retinues. The few that returned alive bore the bodies of their fellows that were slain in the darkness.

Post-Battle Status - Those Who gave their lives in Battle
The following were swept from their feet into the abyss and killed by the Dragon moments after materialising into the End Realm:

- King Anthrail of Pyrencia, first through the portal.
- Viceroy Helori of Carrickshire, Kingdom of Perth.
- Captain Sorik of Casadia, representing Chester-le-Ford.
- Chairman Gunnar Einoson of the G.R.H.H.
- Albus Stark of Laghima.

- Tip of the Spear Samirah of House Almandine, Dawnstar, was wounded mid battle by an Enderman. She survived the battle but later succumbed to her wounds and died in the island camp medical tent.

Nobles who survived:
- Baron von Roglar of Valtoros.
- Haedren, Guardian of Casadia
- Vegeuros of Reinen.
- Gimpy IV Duchess of Kaine.
- Horatio of Ertia.

Here are the brave leaders of Hermertia preparing to make the ultimate sacrifice to save their world from extinction. This was commissioned by the Imperial Arts society following their return as a commemoration.

From right to left, back row first:

Guardian Haedren of Casadia
Chairman Gunnar Einoson of the G.R.H.H
Tip of the Spear Samirah Almandine of Dawnstar
King Anthrail of Pyrencia
Albus Stark of Laghima
Vegeuros Cercil of Reinen
Horatio of New Ertia
Baron von Roglar of Valtoros
Tree of Kaine
Yuick Thanort of Kaine
Viceroy Helori of Carrickshire, Perth
Captain Sorik of Casadia, Representing Chester-le-Ford.

Their retinues and guards accompanied them into the End.
