Gathered nobles and esteemed allies of the Empire. Ave.

I bring forth a query regarding the current influx of applicants, and the pressing need for votes from the Council of the Crowned. Proxy voters as far as my knowledge can tell have been appointed in Valtoros, Sevrys named Hand to King Kyn. So this is not a one of situation.

My Lord Scrios III has informed me recently via courier that his attentions have been withdrawn to an insular matter of personal importance. (Context: He mentioned that he was concentrating on IRL stuff at the moment)

Now, given that we discussed the importance and agreed upon the usefulness of such duties that a King's Hand would and should perform,
I believe my ability to vote in his stead for the applicants is of key importance. I would not have anyone denied entry for so long due to bureaucracy.

As most of you know, Lord Scrios' confidence in my family and forebears as a long standing Noble House of Perth is unrivalled.

I am invoking this Right for the benefit of the Empire and to assist a dear personal friend with the burdens of the Council.

Please speak if you disagree or find fault with this statement.

Thank you for your time.

First off, I know well of your great and long relationship with King Scrios and have zero trouble with your invocation of this legal clause. For the sake of future continuity, however, I wonder if Scrios might be available to hop on and write a quick acknowledgement - even just one sentence - formally granting you his voting powers; it would serve well as a legal precedent and avoid any possibility of a vassal who has not been granted them being able to claim Council voting powers, a unlikely as that may be.

I will see what I can do. I have limited options to contact him just now.

For the meantime I have the vocal conformation that has been given that others have likely heard previously on mumble. I'll get the confirmation in due time. But will press on with the votes for the reasons listed above.

Oh, I don't doubt you sir, and I agree that it would be a real shame to stall our really great applicants under an almost totally absent Council, aha. Just thinking ahead a bit.

Citizens and nobles of Hermertia,

I would like to formally grant Samaia Almandine the proxy vote on matters that require the Kingdom of Perth's input. He is the Hand of the King, a trusted noble within Perth, takes our Kingdoms and the empires viewpoints into consideration in all of his decisions, etc. He is more than capable of assuming this role.

Currently I am on an official mission away from my lands and have not had a chance to review all of the literature and messages that have been sent to me. My apologies for this and I shall return momentarily, once my business concludes.

Kind Regards,

Good ladies and sir,

I am proud to acknowledge Duke Sevrys, a trusted friend and ally, as my Hand in my absence. I have been on a long needed adventure to slay creeper's that have been invading the lands of Floggen. I hope to return soon but until then I grant Sevrys my vote.
