Greetings,

The once powerful Council of Khabranth humbly petitions the great Dukes and Kings of legal voting right to grant the Elvish Ruins North of Khalinar the ability to be magically protected so that evil, vile abominations would not taint this sacred.

The reason are for follows:
- The aesthetic of the sacred ground would be very heavily influenced by a mass of light, such as excess torches or other magical light sources, damaging the purity of the site.

-Resources in the capital are stretched thin as is, and allocating them to constructs barracks as well as sturdy fortifications would cause a huge loss to the stockpile for the inner city.

With these two large points in mind, please grant us, the humble servants of the Empire, this request.

Signed, the Council of Khabranth

Here's the topographical map of the area, on the right:

I would be in favor of this proposal. Lore should be more important than "pure" Vanilla. Looking forward to see this wonder of Elven history with my own eyes

This has my vote. It's surrounded by sea and the city is there to deter monsters. World building at it's finest as demonstrated by the Council of Khabranth's vision here.

I vote no as I do not believe that this is a substantial enough claim to warrant an area worthy of the mob proof requirements.

In my eyes the area is far too small to be considered for the mob proof requirement. Were it a larger area that were more developed or surrounded by some sort of barrier, I may be willing to accept this proposal. As it stands though, I am not willing to accept this.

I do not want to make a habit of accepting relatively small claims. I believe that developed areas should be eligible for this law to promote the world building aspect of the server, but the proposed area is just not large enough or developed enough to get approval from myself at the moment.

Siden does provide a good point on this matter. What kind of barrier does it have surrounding it? I am not talking about a wall but would it be mob proof (i.e. protect against intruders)? Also can I have more pics of the actual builds there?

While I agree with the spirit of things and the intent id be more inclined to have a larger area and more build up so as to not have a large number of small builds like this with mob proofing.
