Since the death of Nicholas II Wysteria has been in political turmoil. The de facto ruler of Wysteria is Representative Jenkins of the Labourer's Council. Even though an excellent diplomat and ambassador Representative Jenkins is not a democratically elected Minister of the Wysterian Assembly. The people of Wysteria seriously doubt that Duke Nicholas would approve.

The Labourer's Council is not able to take care of Wysteria. They are either unable or unwilling to establish a new official government. There is only one apparant solution: An election must be held. And the people who set the date won't. Count Jolly has utmost respect for Representative Jenkins. He'd vote for Representative Jenkins if there only was an election. Until then, Jolly has a request:

The respected, well loved, nobleman Jolly could be considered for stewardship of Wystera. He would handle international inquries until a democratic goverment is established. He would do his utmost to re-establish true democracy again.

This is the official request to the title Grand Count of Wysteria for Count Jolly.

He sends his greetings and pies.

Seeing as there has been a decent amount of time since Nicholas's last appearance within Wysteria, it makes sense that a respected Wysterian noble such as yourself can bring together and provide a face to the people to the Empire.

I'm sure the rest of the Council will weigh in and speak on this but I will say that this can only be a good step to take. What do the rest of the Council and House of Dukes think?

I feel it will be best for Wysteria. Count Jolly is a good man.

I, King Scrios IV, also agree with the comments of my Valyrian Sister and Duchess Vaneth. I believe leaving a Realm without some sort of representation may not always be a good idea. Jolly has proven himself on several occasions and with the guidance of the Council of the Crowned and the other members of the community I am sure the realm can continue with its positive growth.

I am for this action and suggestion.

We shall put it to a vote once we have some more input from other players

As a servant of the great Kingdom of Wysteria, I believe it to be in our best interest to instate Count Jolly as Grand Count of Wysteria. A lack of representation within the international community has lead to the decline of Wysteria as a active and prominent kingdom.

The council shall have a vote on it and a ceremony shall be held if you have been found to be suitable.
