Imperial Court~ With the end of the blockade of the Amoran entrance into the Imperial Sea, and the end of most of the blockades by the treasonous realm of Östlæd, trade and supplies can again flow into the Imperial sea. As a warning, the Östfleot has retreated to the shores of Östlæd. Despite their losses in the naval battle of Secara, and the efforts of the Östlondish fleets, the Östfleot is still quite sizable. They are sure to rebuild damaged ships and build new ships over the winter of 544-545. The sea off the coast of the Östron realms should be avoided by traders. While the blockades have lightened, keep in mind the suffering the people of Gelderlond still endure because of the Ostfleot. We only barely lasted through the winter. |

Imperial Court~ With the liberation of Acholm from Anti-Imperial Religious Fanatics, the Imperial Sea is once again entirely safe and open to trade, travel, and diplomacy. The capital of Östlond has been moved to Acholm from Gourdham, despite the intense support for fanaticism in parts of this town. It is my intention to open Acholm to more international presence in the future. I look forward to meeting with the heads of nations of the Mercurian Empire.
