The government of Darius II was an incredibly wicked and vile one. Through the flames of revolution and the blood of the common citizen, Laghima is now a safer and stronger state with the former government behind us. Darius II and many of his close government assistants were last seen fleeing the realm after their own laws backfired on them; the wicked cowards now hide somewhere awaiting justice to be served. Yet, I must remind myself that this is not a summary of recent events, instead it is an apology. During the Vulcite Conflict (507 - 532 A.I.), far too many lives were lost. Much of the Vulcite race was destroyed and only an estimated 3,000 remain somewhere in the wilderness beyond Laghima. Many Laghiman citizens also lost their lives fighting in a conflict that should have never been. Families from both sides of the conflict were torn apart, and bitter memories were forged into the minds of a nation too young for this violence. On behalf of the new government of Laghima, I, Darius V, would like to apologize for all crimes, despair, hopelessness and atrocities that occurred during this unfortunate time in our realm. We hope to move forward and rebuild broken relations, primarily by helping the 3,000 Vulcite refugees find a new home somewhere within the Empire and not to be left alone to the hostile wildernesses of the Empire. The Laghiman Guard noted that many Vulcites fled immediately after seeing the Laghiman banner, so we request any willing nation to assist us in our cause, in any way. |

The GRHH's offer to send an expedition into the wilderness around Laghima to find these refugees and deliver them to safety still stands. The Gathered will always help and be a home for those who have none. |

Though it is a long voyage, there could be a place for the Vulcites in Dawnstar. My quartermaster and captains will be in touch to discuss the logistics with Laghima and the G.R.H.H. |
