To the esteemed members of The Council of the Crowned,
I, Septimus Cercil, currently Count of Leihorn, Reinen, do petition the council to acknowledge and lend support to my claim for independence

Due to recent events, I feel that further personal and religious development cannot continue in my current holdings. I therefore formerly claim the following lands for the creation of a new realm: Wychwood

The realm of Östlaed just received word from our merchants visiting the Valyrian Sea about the goings on in Reinen. It is somewhat concerning, however, this exodus of your people will be a good solution to the conflict going on in Leirhorn.

As a fellow head of a heavily theocratic society, I do empathize with your plight. Our people did not have the same conflicts that you are experiencing at this scale, however, some tribes of the Östrons did.

After a short discussion at the tail end of our most recent Thanesmoot, the Thanes and I, Anwealda Mark Accynnafon of House Accynnafon of Östlaed, hereby extend our officially diplomatic and economical support for the establishment of this new realm within the Mercurian Empire.

Word has reached about your plight. Your people have been deprived of sanctuary for far too long. The situation is tense for you now, and this journey to a new land makes tremendous sense.

The Minervan schools of theology have been increasingly keen to learn more about your thought systems, spirituality, political systems, and more. If you would allow it, would you be interested in hosting a visit from Minerva? It would be a great honor to get to know you in a deeper sense through experiencing some of your early days in your new homeland.

Across the Valyrian seas. Once upon a time, a distant Regent relived some of the routes taken by some of the New Hermertians. Through canals and riverways. Their entourage passed beneath the seas you are traversing. It had a strange energy then because it signaled itself a potential home to settlers and colonists one day. The Officers of Minerva are looking to fund an expedition to join you there.
