In this thread I will post all of the most recent happenings on how close the website is to being done. Users can also post ideas and other helpful advice here.

I just finished getting the donation button done so people can now donate their hard earned money to a truly worthwhile cause.

Also I nerfed the New Members so that they have to be approved in order to post anywhere besides the Applications section.

Mini-Chat is next on the to-do list for now, then the wiki, then prettying up the website a little bit.

I think we should add the same commons that the old forums contained, with a couple small changes for convenience. I'll leave my proposed changes up for debate:

Commons (for general discussion)

Scholars and Mystics (for lore and whatnot)

Market and Guilds (I propose combining these two areas into one section, with the more specific sections being Buying, Selling, and Guilds. This allows some guilds, such as the Merchant's, to mesh even better, and I think it makes more sense than having a separate Guilds forum as both areas fit in with an artisan theme. Up for discussion!)

Diplomatic Court (or whatever the old name was) (The subsections will be the same as the old commons: Court of the Crowned (for general diplomacy and matters of interest), Council of The Crowned (for discussion amongst the Kings), House of Dukes (the Dukes' parliament), Cabinet (for the ministerial positions and the representative of the Emperor - if this position still exists?) Parliament (for the introduction and passing of bills), and Judicial Court (for criminal trials, declarations of war, and requests for investigation or prosecution))

Applications (for applications and discussions/questions from prospective applicants)

Did I miss any?

And one more thing: Thanks Atryl! Your work to get the site up and running is great appreciated by all.

On another note, I'll be starting to gradually get the applications side of the forums up and running over the next while, as befits my position as Minister. Hopefully when the site is in proper shape, we can do a new recruitment drive - still freaking annoyed I lost the FAQ, aargh.

One more thing: I think we should create an Applicants group, as we had before, as a field to put new accounts into that haven't yet been voted in. I might g ahead and do that, if you're OK with me making a couple changes Atryl.

OK, one very last thing: I think we should re-enable account activation by email, so new account requests must be approved by an admin before they are allowed to post and put in the Applicants group, preventing bots and spammers. What happened to that account creation form, anyway? I'll take a look for it.

Oh yeah, that's all perfectly fine. I wasn't an admin on the old forums so I don't really know how things went back then. I tried to restore the forums as close to possible as the old ones, but I could only remember so much. And I entirely forgot about the Market section too.

You have all Admin perms to do all this right? Just tell me if you can't do anything.

Also if anyone knows what fonts The Regent uses/used for the old sites and his lore maps, I would love to know.

Also can someone open the website in safari and tell me if the website background is fixed or not. Actually if someone could check the website in as many browsers as possible and report on the background, that would be great.

Just name the browser and answer if its fixed or scrolls.
