Citizens of the great Mercurian Empire!

My name is Sir Bjorn of the Octagonal Table, hailing from the distant land of Phoeria. My lands are infamous for bloody conflict between the Red Moon Orcs and the Phoerian men. As previously stated, I was a member of the Octagonal table with 7 other brave brothers in arms. We were the most fearless and accomplished force in the unending conflict. That is until a fort night ago. The Red Moon and Phoerians have just recently forged a respite from conflict to celebrate the Rising of the New Moon, a cultural festival shared by both races. I was invited by the King of Phoeria to celebrate this festival as his personal security officer as he dined with the High Chief of the Red Moon. Unbeknownst to me and my fellow Phoerians, the respite was just a facade. As we dined in the King's plaza, the Blood Fangs (an elite group of orcs breed specifically for assassinations in highly delicate situations) massacred my fellow Knights of the Octagonal Table and the other elite Phoerian units. After the feast concluded, I discovered the heinous crimes committed by the Red Moon. I was thrown into a fit of immeasurable rage. As the lust for revenge over took my mind, I grabbed my broadsword, mounted my horse, and rode for the Red Moon caravan. Needless to say, I was successful in my pursuit for revenge, killing the High Chief, his generals, and the rest of there company. I rode home bleeding, close to death, and with a heavy heart. My need for revenge satisfied, the Red Moon permanently crippled, my will to live was fading fast. As I lay in the infirmary, hoping for my death, I overheard a courier speaking of the distant, unfamiliar Mercurian Empire. There I would have a chance to restart. To live a peaceful life. To not be surrounded by the constant wars of my people. This courier had unknowingly given me the reason to leave. From here, my story is one of a long travel I shall not bore you with. Now that you have heard my story, I beg you to grant me sanctuary so I can begin my life anew.

(note to everyone, Sir Bjorn is an irl friend, so I vouch for him as much as a current serf can)

Greetings! What a terribly sad story, I'm sorry for your loss. I hope that you can find the solace you need in our lands.

Your lore is intriguing, and you sound like quite the character.
What are you looking to get out of the server and how would you best contribute to the land?
What is your favorite part of minecraft, building, exploring, redstone, etc?
Favorite color and number?

Greetings! Welcome Sir Bjorn to the lands of Hermertia, the Mercurian Empire. I'm typing on my phone at the moment, so I'll have to skip my usual introduction. For now, let me just say that we have always welcomed those from other lands into Hermertia, and look forward to learning more about you.

A final thing: if you haven't already, I suggest reading our applicant FAQ, currently going through its final draft at the bottom of the page here: viewtopic.php?f=14&t=54 ; it contains much information about our world and its customs.

Good luck, and

For Glory!

Greetings, I am Vorstaed, King of Pyrencia. I am glad to hear that a friend of Barath Mur's has reached the empire. He is a loyal citizen, and i can only imagine people he vouches for to be productive members as well, once accepted. he only recently returned to us from a long journey, perhaps he was the one who told you of the mercurian empire?

A few questions to get you started.
1) Do you see yourself staying under your liege or moving away after achieving count-hood?
2) What kind of building do you like to do?
3) Do you prefer solo building or group projects?

Greetings and welcome to the Mercurian Empire.

You have a compelling case for being accepted in: a rehabilitated war weary soldier.
We too know the feeling of betrayal within our most sacrosanct echelons of nobility and tradition here in Hermertia, but that is a story for another time.

I would like to extend a vote offering you passage into our Empire, having a good word put in from an ally already here is convincing enough for me.

Ill go ahead and make a Bill in the House of Dukes. You've got to receive EDIT:66% of the Kings, or if the Duke Bill is passed then you only need 50% of the Kings. Good luck on your approval!

Sorry for the delay, I got lost in the woods...
Anyway, in this server I am looking for a space to be creative. I'm not exactly a quick builder, but I'll continue working on each project I start. I believe that I can contribute a unique style to the server, which at some point, I would like to take out on my own as a Count. My favorite part of minecraft is exploring for resources or building. Most of building style is medieval in style, lots of castles, keeps, ramparts, etc. I enjoy solo builds, but I also like group builds because of the productivity and different styles that comes along with group builds. My favorite color is light blue, and my favorite number is 13 (that's my birthday day, I'm not superstitious).
