I should also say that, I myself am not very suspicious of this individual for the actions he has taken. As I know many on our server have pirated games before so I don't think this puts him in a negative light. Of course my opinion matters little as the duke bill has already past, just thought I'd put my two pence in.

I agree with Gimpy here. While some here would question the logic behind obtaining Minecraft account details from anyone other than Mojang directly, I can see why and how someone would go down that route.

If Phillip were to obtain a legitimate account, I would have no issue with his application progressing forward.

I agree that once Phillip acquires a legitimate account I think his application can move forward seeing as he has been forthright so far.

I'm not sure I believe all of this.

With a minecraft account that isn't one of the old ones (and his is not an old unmigrated account according to the typical MC username checkers), you have to use an email address to login. The guy I talked to didn't have the email address on the account changed, so he was able to change the password.

That means that Mr. Phillip here was having to use that email address to login more than likely. He would have likely known it was a hacked account.

I don't see how that nullifies what I said. Wouldn't you know something was fishy if you were provided an email account that wasn't yours? I doubt very seriously people think these are legitimate accounts.

I know at 17 I would have raised questions.

However, it's up to the kings at this point.

Yeah but if he didn't officially create the account then he could assume it was someone else's email that was used who created the account.
